  • Completed successful Technical Due Diligence on five major transactions totaling more than US $400M; including Fruta del Norte royalty purchase, Mariana Resources company purchase, Diavik royalty acquisition, Yamana Gold Streaming Package, and Teck Royalty Package purchase.

  • Spearheaded acquisition of Mariana Resources Corporation (C$175M) after recognizing high grade, large resource potential of Hod Maden; supervised large portions of PFS (2018) and FS (2021).

  • Based in Vancouver - Managed and directed mainly gold, copper and IOCG exploration in Peru operating through Strategic Alliances with Senior Mining Companies. 

  • Also completed initial drilling on Colpayoc Gold Project, discovered gold porphyry system and prepared maiden NI 43-101 Gold Resource Estimate containing 19.3 Mt @ 0.5 g/t Au containing 313,000 oz based on 0.3 g/t Au  COG (open in all directions).

  • Conducted initial sampling and trenching at La Miel, La Mine, Grand Savane and Treuil that defined early discoveries; attracted investment from the World Bank and Newmont Mining Corporation.

    • Newmont program invested +US$30M and Eurasian’s market capitalization increased greatly (+300%).

    • Newmont absorbed management of the program in 2009 and purchased Eurasian’s interest in 2015.

  • Prepared updated NI 43-101 Uranium Resource Estimates containing +650,000 lbs. U3O8 at the Busfield Uranium Project.

  • Incorporated wholly owned subsidiary and acquired uranium resources and surrounding properties in Mali, West Africa.

  • Company was acquired by Bayswater Uranium Corp for C$21.5M; appointed VP Exploration of Bayswater.

  • Conducted successful drilling on the Bayantsagan gold project and established Joint Venture with Asia Minerals (Friedland) on four porphyry copper projects in Mongolia. Led to discovery of the Khongor/Tsakhir porphyry Cu-Au deposit (initial trench: 70 meters @ 0.67% Cu and 0.16 g/t Au)

    • Completed the sale of the Randalls Gold Mine in Australia to Integra Mining

    • Completed the sale of the minority interest in the Bombore gold project in Burkina Faso to Ore Zone.

    • Completed the sale of the Annie IOCG project in Chile to Peregrine Diamonds.

President, CEO & Director – Mongolia, Peru, Thailand (Formerly Harrods Minerals Ltd.)

​

  • Evaluated Country-scale exploration and mining opportunities in Mongolia, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Tchad, Algeria, Mauritania, Argentina, and Peru.

    • Met with Ministers and Presidents of five countries and completed high level Due Diligence in each.

    • Established three operating subsidiaries; Mongolia and Peru for exploration and U.S. for operations; hired staff and created all corporate procedures and programs.

    • Designed strategic gold exploration program for HS and Carlin-type gold deposits in Peru and Mongolia

    • Directed proprietary LANDSAT satellite-based processing team and hyperspectral remote sensing team based in Walnut Creek, California (former Chevron O&G team).

    • Supervised and Directed preparation of Technical Report describing 58 properties (NI 43-101)

 

  • MONGOLIA: Acquired 54 exploration projects and largest land holdings in Mongolia, completed aggressive gold and copper exploration programs, made early-stage discoveries of outcropping gold mineralization.

    • Established Strategic Exploration Alliance with Western Mining Corporation

    • Discovered +400 million tonne Zuun Mod porphyry Mo-Cu deposit (drilled off by Erdene after discovery)

    • After Western Mining (BHP) withdrew from program, all projects, staff and operations were sold with two separate transactions in 2005.  Gold and copper projects were sold to Solomon Resources; other base metal and uranium projects were sold to Erdene Resources. 

 

  • PERU: Identified southern Peru Volcanic Field for intense focused exploration for epithermal gold deposits

    • Evaluated ~200 grassroots targets, resulting in acquisition of 5 early-stage discoveries and projects.

    • Established exploration Joint Ventures with Rio Tinto, Normandy Mines (Newmont)

    • Entire subsidiary company, staff, package of projects and proprietary database were sold to Canadian Shield Resources in 2005.

 

  • THAILAND:  Evaluated entire country for mining and oil and gas exploration opportunities.

    • Farmed into off-shore O&G Lease resulting in discovery and development of the Jasmine Gas Field that went into production and was highly profitable.

    • Withdrew from mining development investment.

Regional Exploration Manager and Senior Geologist – Caribbean, Great Lakes, Southeast U.S.

  • Managed district exploration offices in Caribbean (Cap Haitian, Haiti), Southeast U.S. (Raleigh NC) and Great Lakes Region (Duluth MN).  Directed regional gold exploration programs throughout Western U.S., Alaska, and Canada.  Also worked from bases in Denver CO, Helena MT, Fairbanks AK, and Elko NV. 

    • Directed exploration and resource definition program at True North (Fairbanks, AK) that identified the 1.3 million ounce True North Gold Deposit. Directed resource drilling, environmental and social programs and administration.  Project was transferred to Newmont’s Mine Development Group, deposit was mined.

    • Worked in mine geology group at Newmont’s Carlin Nevada Operations, completing detailed evaluation of ore controls of the Carlin Trend and detailed geology of the Post Deposit.

    • Managed regional exploration programs throughout Eastern U.S., Great Lakes Region, Ontario, Quebec, the Western Cordillera (from Alaska to Idaho) and the Caribbean.  Identified 700,000 ounce Musgrove gold deposit in Idaho.
